Qualifications : G.C.E. (A/L) with 3 Credits in one sitting including a Credit pass for English Language. A qualification in Secretarial practice from a reputed institute. Excellent command of English, and typing speed 40 wpm. Should be competent with MS Office packages. A knowledge of Sinhala & Tamil typing and shorthand speed 80 wpm would be considered as added qualifications. Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a secretary to a Senior Executive. Experience in all aspects of secretarial functions, ability to handle correspondence in English independently, ability to maintain good external and internal public relations and good communication skills are pre-requisites. Priority will be given candidate with experience in NGO/ INGO’s. Age: below 40 Years
Job Profile : The job involves mobilizing the Community to actively participate in the various social development programmes set up on the plantations for the benefit of plantation workers community. Qualifications : A degree / Diploma in Sociology, Social Science or equivalent qualifications supported by not less than 05 years’ experience in mobilizing, community development & active participation in social development programmes. Ability to converse in Sinhala & Tamil and experience in social development activities / social mobilization in the estate sector and exposure in community-based organization would be an advantageous. Should reside in the region and visit the Estates. Experience in the Plantation sector will be an added advantage & ability to ride a Motor Cycle is an advantage. Age : preferably below 50 years
Job profile To carry out the finance function in the Regional Office including maintenance of accounting records and management reports. Carrying out regional audits in relation to projects and recurrent budgets. Assist Regional Director’s to prepare annual budget & forecast if and when required. To implement & maintain internal control systems for compliance. Qualification Part qualification of ICA/CIMA / a Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 02 years experience in a similar capacity. Be computer literate and fluent in English. Working experience in plantation sector would be an added advantage. Age: Preferably below 45 yrs.
